As the widening gap between haves and have-nots grows more intolerable, and unconcern for the least among us more pronounced, we resort to finger pointing. Who dropped the ball? But Sunday’s Gospel, about Jesus restoring a man vexed by harmful compulsions, begs a different question. What’s stopping us from changing the game?
